Hello and welcome to my very first post from Dashing through Duvall! Hope that you all are having a wonderful day. now, let’s cut to the chase.
The treasure chases.
Geocaches are full of many things, like paper to sign your autograph or a sticky hand, and if you’re lucky you’ll find little stick figures!
Or sometimes you’ll find weird things like overdue twinkies…eww. I don’t know if that’s even possible, twinkies never go bad…BUT the chances of finding weird things, are low to none. Just a fair warning lovely reader.
“But what do geocaches look like?” You might ask. Geocaches look like little boxes or bottles hiding in trees, rocks, the ground, or even fencing.
now that doesn’t mean that those are the only places geocaches can be. But for the most time they are behind something, inside something, or under something.
remember, behind, inside, and under. Which spells BIU! funny word I know, some say it like (Bee-iey-ouw). Trust me, it isn’t a math test name.
But geocaches are kind of like a test. A test has rules and learning. Geocaches have their own rules, for example:
A math test (You must sit in silence, no cheating, no passing notes, and no gum, become a robot and don’t do anything but the test, no sleeping…..)
Geocaches (You’re all on your own, no spoilers shall be leaked, you have to change the gift,)
Rule one of geocaches. You’re all on your own. That doesn’t mean you can’t invite friends to hang out and look for geocaches and have jolly good fun! It just means that you’ll only be provided with a vague address, and maybe a hint on which BIU it is. And if its graded as “Easy” then you might have hints saying, “Don’t look in the trash can” or “Not in the big old tree” and sometimes “Don’t overthink it”. But this is usually not the case with geocaches. their a midstory and meant to be one.
Rule two of geocaches. Spoilers sweety. If you watch Doctor Who you get the joke…ANYWHO, no spoilers!!! Not for any reason WHATSOEVER!!! This is a very common mistake in geocaching. Stupid people spoil the fun in finding the Tresure box. So, DO NOT SPOIL IT FOR EVERY OOOONNNEEE!!!
Rule three. You have to change the gift. Now this might sound weird but in each geocache there will always be a gift. If that’s an eraser, an earring, paint, candle, ANYTHING, you have to replace what you’ve taken out with something else. Something nice and not just the old rock you’ve just found on the floor. Not cool man, not cool. Let’s say I find a box that has a bracelet, I would take it out and since I came prepared, I put in a twinkie…NOPE EEH WRONG AWNSER TRY AGAIN! I would put something nonperishable, like a small book, or a sticky hand.
Well that’s all for today’s post!
Hope this helps lovely people! have an absolutely amazing day <3
