🍂Cute autumn trails to go on this fall 🍂

Autumn is truly the perfect time to go out on a walk. The smell of mushrooms and rain in the air, and squirrels always losing their hazel nuts. I know you will be getting your steps in when Halloween rolls around, but for now you can enjoy these wonderful roads around Duvall.

  1. The old gravel road.

this is one of my favorite roads/trails to go on during wet rainy weather. All the leaves don’t drop till the very last moment of autumn. this road is on 275th Ave.

As you go farther down the road it starts to turn into more and more gravel like and more pretty.

If you live in uptown Duvall, I highly recommend this road but if you live downtown, it might not be worth the walk 🙁

Well, have fun on your walks!

Best food around here

Now that it’s getting colder, snow starts to fall, days are getting shorter, you might not want to go outside as much…

BUT MAY THAT BE NO MORE!

Because if you want to have a freshly baked bread, but can’t make it at home, you might have to walk to the store. So, i give you…the best food spots to walk to in Duvall WA!

Number 1. CC ice cream.

CC ice cream is a well-known shop for Duvall residents. We go there in the spring, summer definitely, autumn, and even winter if it isn’t snowing! C’Cs ice cream is full of little toys and nookiest. Like a gumball machine, Kermit the frog cell phone, weird glasses, and even weird ice cream sometimes. They had lemon Marange pie flavored ice cream once, best flavor ever.

Number 2. The Grateful Bread

The Grateful bread is just a place to hang out, drink tea or coffee, and just have a moment in time to yourself. Sometimes people will play music in the shop, while other people sit in a nice chair and read a good book.

Number 3. Pickel Time

Pickel time is a burger place, just an ordinary burger shop…except…It is full of art! when you first step into Pick Time your smacked in the face with amazing art! from head to toe, the walls are covered with art of pickle things that people made. There’s a pickle Darth Vader, Santa, Pickle pug, and more! If you bring your own pencils, they will let you make art for their walls while you eat a nice warm burger and fries.

Thats all for today

❤️Good Gifts and Exchanges

Hello and welcome (hopefully again) to Dashing through Duvall where I, Penelopy the Duvall Dipsy, tell you all about the geocaches around Duvall!

Now that you are interested in finding and looking for geocaches, there’s something you have to do first. Understand and pick out good gifts and exchanges. As I’ve said in the post before this, you can’t just put in a rock that you found on the way.

A. No one will take it

B. It stops the whole point of the geocache!

When you put in a meaningless gift into a geocache, and take the gift that was already there, no one’s going to take your gift! And so, the geocache will never work. Because no one will “Clean” the geocache out, so no one CAN put another gift in!

And if you’re sitting here, stressing about what’s a good gift to put in a geocache. Guess what? I’m here to tell you!!!

Ok, good gifts to put in a geocache are:

drawings or comic

Stretchy hands

Rings or necklaces

GOOD stickers, not just some sticker that says “I <3 micky mouse”

Toys or bouncy balls

And badges that say “Geocache” on them (Very cheap on amazon)

Well, that’s all for today!

I hope you have an amazing time walking and talking

What is a Geocache and How do I find them?

Hello and welcome to my very first post from Dashing through Duvall! Hope that you all are having a wonderful day. now, let’s cut to the chase.

The treasure chases.

Geocaches are full of many things, like paper to sign your autograph or a sticky hand, and if you’re lucky you’ll find little stick figures!

Or sometimes you’ll find weird things like overdue twinkies…eww.  I don’t know if that’s even possible, twinkies never go bad…BUT the chances of finding weird things, are low to none. Just a fair warning lovely reader.

“But what do geocaches look like?” You might ask. Geocaches look like little boxes or bottles hiding in trees, rocks, the ground, or even fencing.

now that doesn’t mean that those are the only places geocaches can be. But for the most time they are behind something, inside something, or under something.

remember, behind, inside, and under. Which spells BIU! funny word I know, some say it like (Bee-iey-ouw). Trust me, it isn’t a math test name.

But geocaches are kind of like a test. A test has rules and learning. Geocaches have their own rules, for example:

A math test (You must sit in silence, no cheating, no passing notes, and no gum, become a robot and don’t do anything but the test, no sleeping…..)

Geocaches (You’re all on your own, no spoilers shall be leaked, you have to change the gift,)

Rule one of geocaches. You’re all on your own. That doesn’t mean you can’t invite friends to hang out and look for geocaches and have jolly good fun! It just means that you’ll only be provided with a vague address, and maybe a hint on which BIU it is. And if its graded as “Easy” then you might have hints saying, “Don’t look in the trash can” or “Not in the big old tree” and sometimes “Don’t overthink it”. But this is usually not the case with geocaches. their a midstory and meant to be one.

Rule two of geocaches. Spoilers sweety. If you watch Doctor Who you get the joke…ANYWHO, no spoilers!!! Not for any reason WHATSOEVER!!! This is a very common mistake in geocaching. Stupid people spoil the fun in finding the Tresure box. So, DO NOT SPOIL IT FOR EVERY OOOONNNEEE!!!

Rule three. You have to change the gift. Now this might sound weird but in each geocache there will always be a gift. If that’s an eraser, an earring, paint, candle, ANYTHING, you have to replace what you’ve taken out with something else. Something nice and not just the old rock you’ve just found on the floor. Not cool man, not cool. Let’s say I find a box that has a bracelet, I would take it out and since I came prepared, I put in a twinkie…NOPE EEH WRONG AWNSER TRY AGAIN! I would put something nonperishable, like a small book, or a sticky hand.

Well that’s all for today’s post!

Hope this helps lovely people! have an absolutely amazing day <3
